PRIVACY NOTICE
How your information is used
Last updated: October 2026
Who we are
InTune Diagnostic & Services is a sole trader business serving Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
Questions about your information: email intunediagnostic@outlook.com or call 07780 046087.
What we collect
When you call, message us on WhatsApp, email us or send an enquiry through this website, we may collect:
- your name, phone number and email address
- the address or postcode where the work is to be done
- vehicle details, such as make, model, registration and mileage
- what is wrong with the vehicle, any photos you send, the work carried out and the parts fitted
- invoice and payment records
Why we use it
- to give you a quote and arrange a time
- to carry out the work and keep a record of it, including your service history and any warranty
- to send invoices and take payment
- to meet our legal and tax obligations
We use your information because it is needed to provide the service you asked for, because the law requires it (for example, tax records), or because we have a legitimate interest in running the business, such as keeping records of past work on your vehicle.
This website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the site is hosted by Cloudflare. Both receive technical information such as your IP address so the pages can be delivered and kept secure.
If you send an enquiry through the website, your answers and any photos go straight into our secure job management system, which is also hosted by Cloudflare, and are used only to reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote. The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam; it checks that the form is being filled in by a person and does not use cookies for advertising. Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted 30 days after they are closed.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it when needed to run the business, for example with our accountant, HMRC, payment providers, or a parts supplier when ordering parts for your vehicle. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.
How long we keep it
Job and invoice records are kept for up to 6 years to meet tax rules, then deleted. Messages that do not lead to a job are deleted once they are no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Just get in touch using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
